What does everyone keep in these spaces next to the spare tyre in the boot? I never really payed much attention, I think I might pop a first aid kit & a torch in there now. I've got a coke bottle filled with water on the far right space for whatever reason... icy windscreen or something.
The left space is shaped oddly, is there something stock standard that's supposed to fit in these spaces?

One space is for the factory folding wheel chock which most new Toyotas come with in Japan- often missing though. Our 2nd one didn't have one but I saved the one from the first
Neither came with the snazzy spare cover yours has though
Our car has a separate place on the left liner for the first aid kit, so more accessable than under the stuff in a loaded boot. Didn't get a kit though.

Those type of spare covers and the tool carry were only on early cars i think, the later ones had a shaped board instead
Yeah, we have the shaped board, but don't use it because the foam blocks are sized for the space saver, not the 15" full spare we now use. Don't feel like chopping the foam off as it probably wouldn't sit level anyway.
