Can anyone tell me what the stuff was that has been recommended to add to your fuel from time to time to clean throttle body and to stop pinging? And no, it's not just ordinary injector cleaner. As I don't remember the name I can't look it up in search.

just to add, a tip on cleaning the fuel sensor rod is to add a bit of wynns spitfire or equivalent. It may not be as good as manual cleaning but it sure helps a lot.

just did this
not many caltex servos sell the techtron range 4 i went to only had nulon
the the 5th servo and the one 150m from my house had of techtron 5000 and only $11.95..
i havent noticed anything, i always run 98 though and i assume due to the fuel i use and the higher detergents it has compared to 91 etc... that it'd be reasonably clean in the cumbustiuon chamber anyways, this was the case on my old Valiant, pulled the head off and it looked brandnew considering it was 5 years old there wasnt any carbon build up and it was sparkling... except for the smashed piston bent rod and everywhere, lol but that wasnt my fault
