G'day to all fellow soarer owners,
I've recently come across what i hope is a small problem. Last week i let the missus borrow my car and she didnt realise that the overdrive button was off, she drove it down the freeway for about half an hour in 3rd gear. When she got off the freeway, for some reason everytime she went to turn left the car choked then stalled. She let the car rest for about half an hour then it seemed fine for a bit then did it again. When she got the car home it seemed ok when i drove it but after about half an hour of driving it started to do the same thing for me too. Strange thing is that turning right seems to have no effect, its only when turning left. Has anyone come across this problem before???

Loose battery terminal? And maybe loose battery?

The O/D button is irrelevant.

Fuel was 3/4 full and battery/ battery terminals are 100% tight. It seems to do it more regularly when the car is warmer. Also if i dont accelerate when turning she doesnt stall, but if i try pressing the accelerator while turning she chokes straight away and stalls. Still hasnt done it once when turning right though. WTF???

Has to be something loose that is moving. Might be tricky to find though. Does the clock etc ever reset?

Got the blinking dash problem and the bottom of the screen very rarely turns on, and when it is visible it only shows me the error messages. But i dont think it does reset cause everything else is fine. I spent about half an hour checking all the connections, intercooler piping, wires and other random things but everything is looking pretty good. Unfortunately where i live there are only about 4 or 5 soarers around so the mechanics arent familiar on how to work on them. Thanks for trying to help guys.. Wish me luck

Fuel Pump ECU.. Search and you will find the fix. (bridge FP and B+ in Diagnostics port in engine bay with piece of wire)

If it stops doing it then you know its the fuel pump ecu.

Also i reapair blinky dash's. PM Me for more info if you want.

Thanks
