This was a more time consuming job than i thought, but in a way quite straight forward. These kits make it so much easier. I have noticed three things, turbo spooling sounds better, looks good from front on (i had all the piping polished). And it was a hot hot day around 40 degrees today, and i hardly noticed that depressing heat soak feeling.
Over all i am stoked that the cooler is on, and i will be going for my tune this week and install my piggy. And that means more boost!! Out of interest can the ct20 handle more than 14 psi, or is it similar to the ct12 due to the common ceramic wheel?? I am only going to tune to 14-15 psi anyway. Currently at 12 psi with no problems.
Its coming along nicely, will keep you updated with power figures soon.
BTW full multimedia system installed last week, with woodgrain trim sounds and looks great, I'm loving that bass back massage
My wallet has suffered substantial injuries, and my wife may possibly kick me out

Well done! In terms have Ct20, i have no idea. I believe they are ceramic as the jz80 are ct20 also. (mate of mine had his jza80 tuned. Pumped out 240odd kw and the turbine wheel blew ) Are you experiencing abit of lag with the cooler on?
Give that a bloody good read Shadi - make you feel better about your motor
As for 15psi - I've been running 1 BAR now for 6 months, no hassles. Keep in mind though that turbo tolerances vary, whats good with someone else may be good for blown turbo and empty wallet with you.

So long as you have a free flowing aftermarket dump pipe to reduce back pressure, they can cop quite a beating. Unsure of vvti 1JZ's but I've run beyond 1 bar on my ct12a's for over a year with no problems, and it gets quite a good workout throughout the week as it's my daily.

Thanks for the input!
Doran that was an informative read. Who tuned your car, and were you happy with the results? What were the results? I am booked in at X speed on friday? Is this a good move? They said that they have tuned this motor in a chaser before, and they are close by. C red are fully booked for two weeks and want 25% more on the bill. They were my first choice.
The problem with the vvti Doran, is that i am struggling to find or have not heard of a direct bolt on garret or hks etc turbo. Which means big bucks in new manifolds, dumps etc, if this one blows. If this was not the case i wouldn't be so worried
