i have broken my 1jz crank it all started when my motor got a rattle in it so i pulled the motor out off come the sump i fined a spun bearing on number 5 com rod so i took the crank to the shope were we find the brack in it

no just need the crank rob the motor was new it only had 2500ks on it. it cost me lots to build

yer it has a big crack across number 5 con rod i'm lucky it didn't brake right off

Justin if you have cracked the standard crank why not replace with an aftermarket 1 as i'm guessing you have some big numbers happening, don't you think that another standard crank might just be a stall.

How many aftermarket cranks have you seen for a 1JZ ???

Justin, good luck finding someone selling JUST a crank, my advice would be to just buy Rob's engine as its very cheap for a 1J, take out the crank, sell the head to re-coop some money, sell off any ancillary parts and ditch the block as it will be pretty useless...

The crank would have cracked after the bearing was spun. The hammering fron the spun bearing would have cracked it.
