Hey so i wasnt sure where to post this so i guess i will just put it on here. Ever since i have had my soarer after a heavy downpour my boot will be left with a water on the right hand side right down the bottom. I have recently done some little tests of my own to try and determine where the water is getting in but couldnt find anywhere. All seals appear to be in good condition no sign of rust down the bottom. Any ideas where the hell it could be coming in? Anyone ever have the same problem? thanks

Peter, i think you may be right! Is there a way to prevent this from coming into the boot? Its really annoying! and worrying as i have my amp and sub cables running right along that side.

I had the same problem 1 week ago. For me it was the hose for the fuel lid drainage hole. The hose itself was blocked with dirt, pretty much at the top half. So no water could follow the path of the hose and normally drip onto the ground. As it rained the water was collected and very slowly seeping from where the hose connects to the metal spout of the fuel drain.
I took it off and blew out all the dirt. Then put it back in.

Hey justin thats what my 1st thought was but i stuck a thin piece of wire up from the bottom as far as possible and not much came out and when i poured a little down the hole near the fuel cap heeps of water came out the bottom. So yeah i still have the problem. Its kind of bizzare

Also check your spoiler (if you have one). Mine was leaking through the spoiler and down through the bolts that hold it in place, i used sellys all clear and sealed them up

Hey geoff yeah when i 1st did a search for the problem i think i remember reading your post about that. But I am almost certain its not the spoiler leaking. Im pretty certain its the sunroof drain pipe. Will have to check it out today and see what i can do. Thanks for the help guys

Hey guys thanks for the help, And it was the sunroof drain pipe! it had popped out of the hole that holds it into place at the bottom of the boot.Very easy to fix. Tim all i needed to do was remove the right hand sides boot carpet stuff and you can see a hose coming down from the direction of the sunroof and it goes into that little black box on the side of the boot. I did need to remove what i think is the factory amp or something to be able to access it easily. Very easy job! Thanks Peter
