I dont know i must be gettin to old. i always thought skid marks were what u left in your undies if you hadnt wiped your arse well enough, and skids were the marks you left on the road when you locked up your brakes. Guess every generation has a new name for things  |

I presume by Skid, which means to stop, you actual mean to accelerate and purposefully loose traction?
I guess a lot of training is required for such a heroic feat.

Anybody else think its a bit ironic that so many Soarer owners on this forum are such kill-joys?
I mean, if exuberant driving annoys/upsets/scares you then why the hell would you go out and buy a twin-turbo charged (or V8) rear-wheel drive coupe..? |

But seriously for a second: One reason i chose a soarer in the end was a responsible forum. No I'm not actually kidding here, have you seen boostcruising? Have you seen SAU? Have you seen S1?
Not seriously though, this thread was made like 6 months ago the OP doesn't really deserve any more grief for leaving some rubber on the road. Sure its a touch irresponsible but honestly except for the gloating it's not like we've never been there ourselves. |

You ask any of us "old blokes" and you'll see we went through the same stuff as you.. sure we found it fun to do BURN OUTS, we found it fun to drift a corner. Of course when we end up smashing up our cars, hurting ourselves, strangers, people we loved our tunes changed pretty quickly.
It don't matter what I say, you'll do what you please cos "You're a great driver" and you "know your car really well"

At the end of the day, take it to the track!
