ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGHGHGHGHGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH a day ruined by keys! Having such a nice saturday! My anger came out! hahahahah! so it turns out a very small screw i had sitting in my din pocket fell down into the shifter area which was not letting the shifter sit in park properly! it looked like it was but this screw was probably holding it out of park by about a fraction of a mill! I NEED A BEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

Sweet. And here i was about to advise you not to stick more than one key into the ignition at a time Steve :-) Doesnt it suck when it ends up being something so simple. I supose you gotta look on the Bright side eh if it were me id have had the sidchrome pliers out hours ago.

I had the same problem once, but it turned out that my alarm was faulty.

It's usually because the shift lever is not quite far forward enough, and moving it back and then forward firmly usually sorts it.
