Im going to re-install the DVD player into the new car soon and wondering if there is any other way to install it other than through the tuner. Also if i install it and then get the TV mod later will i need to pull it all apart again?

Thanks

Hi Adam,

I also got the DVD player installed in my car too but havent done the Tv mod...

But later on if you want to do the Tv mod, you will need to unmodified the Tv plug..

But Mark Paddick can modify the Soarer Tv tuner to connect to the modified Tv plug that still got the DVD player hook up...

For the safety feature bypass, Mark Paddick posted a detail instruction with pictures on how to do the mod, just do a search and you should be able to fine the thread

The only way into the EMV system is through the TV tuner input.
If you modify to fit a DVD and then later want the TV you will have to undo the mod or get me to do a specially modded TV that can feed into the DVD external input (they all have one).
I prefer stock wiring and TV tuners that are all compatible with the stock wiring.
The factory A/V input wiring can be modded for stereo and can be used with a working but unmodified TV tuner (must not have error 12).

Hey, in this walkthrough in section 4, number 6. It says to connect the right audio to red wire PIN 1.
This is incorrect.
Does anyone know the correct wire for this? Would it be pin 10?
Cheers
