I am often surprised by the number of people that don't drive these vehicles to their maximum potential and therefore not getting the most enjoyment from them and at the same time endangering themselves and others. My proposal is to offer my time and knowledge learned with driving at Oran Park, Warwick Farm and Amaroo circuits in Sydney. There would be no charge for this, except for petrol and accommodation if that was needed. Is anyone willing to see if there is a suitable venue to do this sort of thing? Maybe a kart track would be open to the idea, or a short circuit somewhere in S.E. Queensland. I'm sure there are other guys out there who have had advanced driver training who would also make themselves available for such a scheme. Insurance could be a major issue, or ambulance presence. I don't want to put too many blockers in the way however, I guess they need to be considered. Car clubs might even be able to help out with putting this gig together. Let me know what you think.

Wherever that Bruce Lynton driving school is (somewhere near the gold coast?)
I am moving up to the border region at the end of the year. I want to continue attending track days, and have just started looking for venues and clubs.
The way a couple of clubs have avoided massive one off insurance premiums has been to run events under the umbrella of an established driver training organisation (eg Chucky Baxter's Trackskill, or Ian Luff's Motorvation)
A word of warning though- it is one thing to attain skills, but an entirely different proposition to be able to teach others, especially in such an ego filled and emotive area.

Try and speak with Cooloola Car Club up near Gympie... they have regular do's at the Roadcraft Skidpan up there... and whilst it is a drive for a lot of us, I did a motorkhana upthere with the R31 Skyline club when I had one of those, and it was a thoroughly rewarding day.
If anyone whinges about the distance, perhaps they need ask themself why they bought a luxury cruiser in the first place ;)
