Posted in AC section but don't think anyone reads it.

Anyway,

We have just purchased a 95 TT and the AC Fan does not work at all.
LCD and controls are working properly but getting no power to fan at all.
Any suggestions?

It could be the back part of the AC thingo, as in the controller bit.

I only say that cos, ages ago when i bought a replacement AC module as my original one was leaking it did the same thing. ALL the buttons worked and the display itself changed, but no fan.

SO i pulled the working face off my replacement module and installed it onto my existing back part of the module and PRESTO all good again.

Im assuming you have done a solid fuse hunt also?
Im also assuming you are talking bout the fan bit under the dash and NOT the condenser fan.

Yeah I am talking about the blower under the dash.

I will try the control unit from my car but I am not sure if they are the same or not as mine is a 92 and the new one is a 95.

As for the fuses, I checked all fuses under the bonnet and they were fine but once again not sure if the fuses are different in the 95 models and don't have a fuse cover with fuse layout for this one.

That will be it. A long time ago, when I had my AC panel modified by the late Mark Paddick, he accidentally sent me an early model rear unit. Had exactly the same symptoms as you. Sent it back to him and he swapped it back, Presto! All good.

The unit currently in the car does not look to have been modified (still has bleeding screen) so I can only assume it still has the original 95 unit.
Do the 95 models still beep when you press buttons?

Found the problem, turns out someone dropped a screwdriver in to the fan and caused the blower motor control to burnout.
