no worries jamie
car: 92 JZZ30 GTTL manual soarer Motor: 1JZ-GTE Boost: 16psi Computer: Greddy Emanage Ultimate (base tune) Plugs: NGK Iridium spark plugs Other: Hybrid FMIC, Superspark coils, lews seperated wastegate dumps, 3 inch straight through stainless zorst and other various stuff
So far after many many hard runs in the hills on 16 Psi, normal driving, 1 track run, ive had no problems what so ever.
Cold and hot starting have not changed, if anything hot starting has improved slightly, no change in idle stability or any loss of power under boost, this is with pretty old spark plugs, as waiting for a order from the US to come in
Very happy, will recomend them to any JZ owners that need coils

Jamie, if you want to actually test whether they're any better than the factory coils you'll need to make a comparison in an application where the factory coils are new, and the ignition system is a limitation;
Im sure if you sent him a set Vardis would be more than happy to do a before and after run then return them to you. I believe that is the way if you're after a true comparison to aid product development and subsequently the Toyota community.

very interesting. what have you seen with 2j's? hey cihan quick question i will be getting a tune that you apparently done for ramyn's 2jz in his jzz30. i was wondering if you have any power figures from it? has 264s 650's and gt35r at 18psi. was justin cooks motor before his.

2JZ run the same ignition system in its entirety - so you'll experience the same limitations at about the same power output. Might make a little more power but its completely related to the supporting mods.
With a GT35R i don't believe stock coils, stock igniter with no amp will max the turbo out.
Justin was running a GT30R compressor (485-500hp) and the turbo was maxed out at 295rwkw or so when i tuned it.

we have already seen 812hp atw with our coil packs
we have also done a lot of testing with back to back OEM coils...and all reports have been great so far
there are other important factors such as reliability that we are also very focuses on...IE: making sure the components inside the coil will stand the test of time
