Hi Guys,

Just wanted to tell you all that I got my new exhaust setup put in :-) full system with 3 inch to magnaflow cat to two 2.5 inch magnaflow mufflers, sounds great!! I got resonators since a lot of people recommended them since I don't like drone :-) she's quieter than I expected but definitely louder than the stock exhaust, anyways not really an issue since I can get the resonators taken off if I want more noise.

Anyways, i'm very impressed with the power gains it gave me. The car seems much faster and the acceleration is great, but when I took her for a run tonight and when I let her rip I hit fuel cut so i'll need a FCD now :-) looking for an HKS one.

Overall i'm a happy customer and just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me out here on advising me on the exhaust setup.

Owen you will find the gReddy Boost Cut controller for the 1JZ is pretty good and cheaper than the HKS unit . Also has an adjustable pot inside to set for any vehicle .

Easy to install and setup .

Thanks Daniel i'll check it out :-) as for pics/vids my net is down for a few days due to Telstra's bungling so will post some soon.

Been driving it around a bit more and i'm thinking its too quiet for my liking, so I might get them to take the resonators out. I'm running an auto so I don't want horrible drone either which is why I went with the resonators, but at the same time its a little too quiet right now for what I envisaged. Maybe I could get smaller resonators? if anyone has their exhaust done on an auto your thoughts and experiences would be appreciated :-)

Im running 1 cat and 2 cannons, with no resonators ... Its kinda not so quiet one would say,lol .

But sounds awsome under full note :-)

Id say go for some smaller resonators if you must have sound .

yeah smaller ones might be good, the ones he put on look pretty big!! or I might not get any at all and just let the mufflers do their work, decisions decision!

Here's an image of the resonators, its a night shot will take another in the morning.. they look as big as the magnaflow mufflers i got on so i'm guessing I do want small ones or none at all.. :-)
