Hey guy's, i'm not too cluey about suspension set up's when it come's to cars but have read of people putting supra bilsteins into their TT's. Basically i'm soon going to be buying a nice package of parts from MVP and am getting K-Sport suspension for my supra. I have always loved the airbag suspension of the V8 soarer but I fear mine is on the blink, it sags to 1 side and sometime's the rear driver side wont fill but doesn't sound to be leaking. Anyways, I figured if i'm getting new suspension for the supra I could do away with the airbag suspension and air lines and crap in the soarer and put the Supra Bilsteins in.
Has anyone from here done it or got any info ?? do any minor mods have to be done or are they pretty much a straight fit. Opinions and feedback all welcome but dont tell me to buy new suspension for it as I can only afford 1 set

I installed the Supra bilsteins in my old soarer, it was a straight swap (as mentioned you need to change the top hats to pov pack ones) and ride was pretty good and it sat nice and level(just a touch lower than the stock soarer springs).

James, what's the ride like ?? I'm thinking that cause the suspension was made for a car ~ 200kg lighter that they will be floaty or are they still quite firm ??
Why do I need the top hats as well ?? cant the tops just be exposed ??

Mate, the ride is rather firm, but that's due to the fact that I've also got polyurethane suspension bushes in it too, which need to be removed when theres some spare cash.
To be honest, I find it just a tad too firm. I'd be able to give you a better idea when I get new suspension bushes in. It's not floaty, and on a good road, offers superb grip & handling.
So yeah straight fit in, should have everything you need from the Supra?
