I have a 91 auto v8 and a 94 v8 with a W58 conversion.
Can't seem to sell or give away the 91, so I'm thinking of stripping it and keeping some spares up my sleeve. Don't want the car hanging around for months while being parted out.
So my question is , what should I keep and what won't fit the 94 coming off the 91?
I believe the wiring harness is very different on the 94 compared to the 91.

why not just keep it there working or rolling so the parts dont take up as much space as the car as a whole takes up less room and if you need a part just get it when you need it

Aaron the car is sitting in the backyard, killing the lawn and I have to move it every couple of days to keep the lawn alive and looking ok.
Taking spares off it , won't take up much room as I can actually store them in the garage.

Nice try Ken !! as I said the 94 is a keeper thats why I'm thinking of building up some stock of spares for future use.

Was going to build another schmick engine from the 91 and at some later stage put it in the 94, but the wiring harness is probably gunna knock that on the head.

Its easy to change the wiring harness when the motor is out of the car Paul. Been there done that.

You just use you 94 one on your built 91 motor.

If I had some spare cash lying around I would of brought your 91 off you a while back.

Unfortunately I need to do some more improvements to mine.

Hmmm really confused , my wife wants the car gone, I don't have time to part it out, and yes it would make an awesome track car project. What to do ,what to do ???
Also how do you get rid of a non rolling chassis once it's been stripped ?

I thought there was some some significant difference in the Computer control and wiring harness , but if you've done it then maybe I'm just thinking to far ahead and being pessimistic about it.
I have another bit of interest in the car , so we'll see what happens.
