Interesting he says it's 300KW and twin turbo, so I'm assuming it has HKS turbo's. Funny it hasn't got a underbonnet pic or what the turbos are. I would say $16000 would be a good price, $24000 not a hope. There's so many rare black on black soarers for sale presently that you would have to think they are quite common.

Front bar is weird and that power claim is mighty high for those listed mods. 24k should get you 500+ rwhp in a soarer. Kit and paint aren't hard to change to personal taste.

24k id be rolling in a turbo v8 with a 6 speed.
I didnt realise there were 6 speed gearboxes which would fit a 1uz?
Even if the fellow's advert is 100% accurate and the car is pushing 300kw on the listed mods, i would hate to be the sucker who has to shell out for replacement turbos 2 weeks down the track ;D

Callum. ive read about a few US sc400 running a getrag with custom belhousing/adapters. Neil Griffiths is currently doing a kit for a 6 speed out of GM cars, t56

You wouldn't think many Hilux gearboxes would mate up to a toyota 4AG but currently thats the project for the feroza which donated the 1.6L engine to the charade
Everything is done, waiting for engineer's to finish up the bellhousing so we can fit and go!
Point is, you can do anything with anything. The only restriction is money

Not worth it just to get that power, whether at the wheels or at the flywheel. People seem to imagine they can get what they spend on mods back in the market. They might get lucky but mostly they are (rightly) disappointed. The car's best feature is its comparative youth but it has still done 116,000 Km.

Dunno, I hate pretty much every aftermarket kit I've seen on any soarer so that kills it for me...but i guess its ok...dont like the badges either...and if i wanted to cook myself id leave the oven open and sit in the kitchen and be 24k better off for it lol...

This soarer belongs to the son of Dennis Cometti and is selling it because he never drives it and is moving to the states. He lets a friend of his who is a friend of mine drive it and look after it as he is a toyota mechanic.
I'm pretty sure he plucked the power figure from out of no where cause when I asked my mate how much power it had he didn't know but all the mods listed are there.
Its a very nice car and has been very well maintained and if I had the money I would buy it.

I think its worth 24k, and definitely 18.5k. What else can you get out there with the same combination of power, luxury and sophistication for that sort of money. Nothing actually.
