Just asked for a price on 1UZ head gaskets from my (normally good) Toyota dealer - $220...for ONE gasket! And theres no stock in the country! LOL just about fell off me chair

I have a mate that has a full vrs for a 1uz. i will speak to him this week. he only wanted about $300 for it. That is all gaskets for a 1uz.

I tried to use generic heater hose but it kinked, so I had to shell out $70 for a genuine JZZ30 item. Better be the best damn hose ever.

Check on US Ebay for the gaskets. I think I have seen sets on there for a reasonable price.
