hi all i have an Apexi Boost gauge.. and lately its been sticking, im not sure if its touching the screen or not getting the vacuum through it..
sometimes when i boost it will work sometimes i will get below 0.5 bar. and stop, i took the glovebox out(mines mounted in the grain above the glovebox) checked the lines, theres no holes or kinks... any ideas?

is it electrical or mechanical ?
My mechanical one did that to me AGES ago in my Skyline, i binned it for a decent electronic one and i have no doubt its still running a charm (assuming the buyer has not crashed the car due to his flat brimmed hat blocking one eye......)

well it has a vacuum line which is hooked into a T piece through the passenger footwell and then an electrical cable that that goes no idea where. and that plugs in, but im only assuimg that plug is there for the light when i turn my head lights in and that works fine...

if you can follow the boost line all the way to the gauge then its mechanical. sounds mechanical though. is your car putting any oil in the intake? ive had a few people who have had blocked ones from oil and crap and was making it stick. couldnt figure a good way to clean it so they replaced them. not to say thats the problem but its a possibility. and also can be an idea to put a small filter on it like the hks ones you get for the ssqv bov etc

basically you get a little inline filter, not sure where exactly to get one i had one left over from a hks bov and a hks boost controller i fitted so just cut into the vacuum hose that goes to the boost gauge and put the filter in it. its like a clear plastic housing with a small foam like filter in it.
