i am getting a new piggy back engine management system soon and i want to know if anyone has a hks fcon pro on theyre soarer. i have read that only a few people in the country have the software and expertise to tune them. i have been leaning towards an e-manage for a while and then i read this. so im wondering if it is even a possibility to get one anymore. also how hard is it to tune an e-manage ??

i had the f-con iS, which allowed the auto trans to run fine. it was basically a plug in, but you need a 3 bar map sensor also if you want to tune accurately over the factory 14psi. i know of a guy with a auto supra 2jzgte and he has the f-con V Pro, which is expensive but awesome. both of these computers are still current,and the number of hks pro dealers in Australia has gone from only 2 to about five now. they really are a good bit of kit.

the only problem with these is they can only be tuned in sydney and are extremely expensive to tune by them. i was going to get one years ago but rang up and was 1500-2000 just for the tune

the following garages are hks f-con dealers.NSW- BEL garage PTY ltd, Tunehouse .QLD - Advanced Performance centre, Gavin Wood Autotech, GT Auto garage, W.A - Race torque engineering, XSpeed Perforamnce. I would be assume that all these guys are capable of tuning them. aaron, those prices to tune are a total ripoff! tuning is fast, because all the base parameters are still there in the stock ECU(F-con iS) or on the V Pro. i get charged between 300 and 600 dollars for a tune, which includes a one hour road test.

at the time i was looking at one there was one tuner in australia so they charged whatever they wanted. so now there are more hks dealers thats good and means the price for tuning have gone down because yes it was a ripoff for a tune there thats why i ended up not getting one lol
