I bought my Soarer, sight unseen about a month ago. It will probably be another month before I return to Melbourne to drive it, and eventually truck it over to WA.
I'm getting nervy about it sitting so long unstarted. I had mum try to start it up this evening and it's flat (interior light on!)
Is this going to cause problems for the car?

Kadir mine has been sitting in my garage not driven for a few months now, im waiting to get it painted. I drained the battery without starting it, but i charged the battery and it started first try and almost instantly with no hassles at all mate.

Mind you the previous owner imported the car 7 years ago and never registered it. So if you think about it, it's probably done its fair share of sitting around.
I suppose you just get paranoid about relatively big investments, especially when they are still new (to me)

just started a 1jz which had been sitting without oil for 8 months and not turned over for another 4 before that. although i manually cranked it over first a few times to make sure it moved alright.
its in the 260z
i'll make a post about it later when its running properly. probably about 2 weeks from now it'll be driveable
