Hahaha... I saw this car on kewdale road a few weeks ago when I was in my supra, I cruised behind him and he dumped it and just took off... I heard the wastegate open and he was GGGGAAAAWWWWNNNNNN.... !!
But I caught him at the lights, gave him a thumbs up and he just gave me a dirty look... I dont get some people.

yeah...no, doesnt work like that, 14psi unintercooled through an M90 is different from 14psi intercooled through a TVS, as is 14psi through a stock T28 and 14psi through a GT35 turbo.
Depending on when it peaked (lower peak torque RPM will produce a higher peak torque compared to peak hp), an 1uz producing 1200Nm would put out about 900hp assuming peak torque is somewhere around 5252 (for simplicity). This isnt guesswork, HP = torque x rpm / 5252. So if you think you need 35psi to make 900hp on a 1uz, then ok, but thats basically what you are claiming.
Food for thought, VW 5L TDI V10 makes a paltry 230kw, but has 750Nm of torque. Peak numbers dont really tell the story, so instantly dismissing the claim or 1200Nm is a bad idea. Dyno sheet would be nicer, but its not neccesarily bullshit.

Power output would be very different, torque output would be *fairly* similar (and by fairly I mean not taking into account major tuning differences and s/c parasitic losses)
