I seem to be waging an ongoing battle with this annoying little creature in my drivers side window. I've sprayed it, I've poked sticks in the gaps and yet I never seem to be able to get this infernal thing. I come out every morning and there is a new web! I am considering waiting during the night for it to attack it.
But does anyone have a solution for getting rid of my eight legged nemesis that doesn't involve me staking out the driver's door?

Double-barrelled shotgun works for me..... kills most spiders first time. You'll still get the occasional little bugger who ducks but they're few and far between
Give your car to the quarantine guys, they'll sort your car out... tell them it has some exotic south american tarantulas in the mirrors and in other nooks and crannies all over the car. Better still, call Steve Irwin

All very good suggestions guys...I like the idea of sending in a bigger spider but then I risk some kind of spider alliance with twice as much web on my mirror!
Perhaps I should create some sort of flame throwing contraption to eliminate these pests...
