a Toyota Dealership can get you them and by the way, the pump comes with the seals, might as well change the belt and thermostat at the same time.

You'll most likely need to look for part numbers on here though first.

From my personal experience, shopping around different dealerships will give you a whole range of prices, Anthony Smith Toyota in Coburg have by far given me the best prices.

I think local dairies sell them.

I know my Corner shop did last time I went, though they were old stock.

Still went alright.

I know people say that 1jz and 2jz pumps are the same, but i found a couple bolt holes didn't align 100%

You may not find this problem. Happened to me with two water pumps. Toyota wasn't helpful either because they gave me the wrong one after i gave them the part number VIN and engine. zzz

2jz-gte Pump and 1jz-gte Pump are interchangable.

2jz-ge (NON TURBO) Pump and 1jz-gte Pump are NOT INTERCHANGABLE.

for the time it takes to change a water pump, i would only use a genuine toyota pump that i know will go the distance.

Just to clarify i went to three dealerships and only one went to the effort of ordering even one in. The rest brought out a multi point housing that is supposed to be driven by a fluid line???

Anyway pretty useless. My final one was a good looking cast with good blades. they're a pretty simple thing. I'm not worried and 5000kms later it hasn't leaked and my water temps are lower than ever (although that can be attributed to the radiator flush i'd think).
