| Im still on my Ps but just wondering for when im off my Ps. Because iv noticed a lot of six cylender soarers are 2.5 liter engines or something And mine in 3 liter Tho i don't have a turbo, I was just wondering if mine would be faster then the 2.5 liter ones becouse mines 3 liters, When i get turbo. Dose it make much difference? |

| yes jai same turbo on each engine the 3L would definately go harder and faster, more torque. more exhaust comes from a 3L so the turbo would spool faster than in a 2.5L like mine. Be warned converting a 2jzge n/a to a turbo isnt as easy as it sounds man but you will find that out |

| Yeah i have one of these too on my p's I've looked into conversions its expensiveeeee to get the kit... It looks alot easier and cheaper to buy a twin turbo 2jz (the 3l engine) second hand from wreckers etc... from an aristo or supra and trade in your N/A 2jz to drop the price. I'm looking at doing this once i'm off my p's this January |

| Nothing wrong with the NA pistons......... made of the same material as the GTE pistons, just the ring landing is a little thinner and the rings are different. Adding boost to the factory engine with the factory computer is the problem. Throw a 1JZ-GTE head / loom / computer onto it and it's perfectly fine for turbocharging, and ample for 300-350rwkw or more with a thicker head gasket. |

So you lost all your cash(And the money for shipping for the bonnet) at the casino yet can afford a brand new GT35, yet not send my brother his bonnet? This doesn't add up Nathan. How about get your priorities straight and stop spending on your car and send my brother his bonnet? This is getting beyond a joke mate... |

I've got 3.5 years left on my p's. during that time i have a lot of things planned for my car eg. wheels, bodykit, suspension, exhaust, interior swap, paintjob, car audio etc. just to name a few from memory. so when it comes times that i have no power restrictions, it would be hard to sell a car that i have spent a lot of time and money on, not to mention all the memories that will go with the car. this is why when i'm off my p's i will go for an na-t setup |

Strange...seeing as the thread was about your soarer, and all the previous posts were talking about the soarer, and you said that YOU owned an S15. This is our problem why? We sent you money for shipping, you pissed it all away at the casino. (Apparently)

Let me get this straight. You take my brothers money. Spend it all at the casino, no sign of bonnet for well over 3+ months... Hmm... yep, we're such tools hey. I have NO idea why we would be so pissed off, total over reaction... Nathan Hlad wrote on Sunday, June 27, 2010 - 08:56 am:bitching doesnt help something that has already happened
Okay, so i'll just sit here quietly and not say a word. After all you didn't reply to my PM a few days ago asking if there was any progress in sending it, no hard feelings, right? How about you give us a date as to when it'll be sent by, it might give you a goal to aim for ;) You know, as opposed to saying "You will receive the bonnet" every 2-3 weeks and hearing nothing about it in between. |

But the thread isn't even about an s15. Its about YOUR soarer. So why would your "mate" post in a thread about YOUR soarer that HE brought a turbo? It makes absolute no sense.

I want you to save your cash, and send my brother his bonnet. I don't care if you have to live on mi goreng and walk to work for a week. We've been WELL over patient with you waiting MONTHS for you to send it, not to mention you've ADMITTED to using my brothers money for something it wasn't meant to be used for (Your gambling problem) You think you're at your wits end? How would you feel you if you spent hundreds of dollars on an item and have the item not turn up, and the person go "Oh, don't worry, i don't intend on keeping it, i just gambled all your money away at the casino!" Doesn't paint a pretty picture does it? |

| Bloody hell, if it was me and I owed someone who is basically a stranger money, I'd get a loan or sell something to pay them back! Ask a close relative, apply for an overdraft, sell your Soarer - whatever! Otherwise its basically theft - he didn't give you the money as a loan but you are now treating it that way. He should be charging you interest. |

the first time i went in for a loan it was $1200 got told i didnt earn enough money, next time was 1k same story. i dont have a bad credit rating because i have never got a loan. AS SOON AS I HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO SEND THE BONNET I ASSURE YOU I WILL !! |

I go clubbing most thursday and saturday nights, but some things are more important than others and even I would stop going out (or in your case going to the casino) for a couple weeks and get Shane his money. |

You are acting like a knob and really should have sorted this issue out a long time ago. If you tried this crap on me I would be calling up my various AJ mates in Darwin who would be more than happy to help me out...... To read such about such a sad story and then claim you could afford a shroud due to "casino winnings" really proves you an oxygen thief. OT - Jay, welcome to the club. Personally I would not bother stuffing around with trying to Turbo your 2J once off Ps. Just enjoy it now. Once your done, buy a turbo Soarer and swap all your collected parts from your 2J soarer into your new turbo one. easy.
