Just a few shots from the weekend.

My Celsior, My mates Nissan 280zx, and dirty r32 skyline.

Did't turn out that good, mates keeping getting in the way of shots and had to use a camera phone.

If anyone wants some Hi-res copys of the photos for a background or something let me know.

Check out the photo shopped pic of the celsior with circle tail lights to match the other two cars.

Incase anyone was wondering, the 280zx runs a rb26dett, I recently sprayed the rims and bonnet vents black, made a huge difference, doesn't look so pretty boy now. Should of put a uz/jz in it tho.

P.s.

Why is the start new thread button right down the bottom on the page, its a little stupid, you have to load all them posts for no reason just to get a button. Should be at the very top, not down the bottom.

The theory is that people will notice an existing thread to post in rather than just start new threads will-nilly on stuff that's already covered.

Not my design feature, but I can understand it.

Well that does make sense Peter,

Its normally only in the topics that have been popular, and its only when my internet speed gets capped that it can be a bit of a problem.

Dave, Euroline DH's look really good on your car, suit it well, Black 97+ Soarers also look wicked with good fitment of these.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the comments :-)

Boris: Stock air bags, but height Controller, Thats not the lowest it goes, I can still drive at that height, would still drop another 2cm in the rear and 3-4 in the front. Stock right height with these wheels gets about a 3-4inch gap between the top of the tyre and the bottom of the guard (black trimming on) thats with a 245/35/19

Ben:

The 280 Has a basiclly stock rb26dett, Vipec ecu (afm's removed) custom dumps, 3inch mandrel system, Rb25det 5speed, R200 rear end. Has a leak in one of the throttle bodies so its making about 3psi by redline, not cool. Will be attended to nextweek. For the 1jz guys who are curious it makes 245rwhp @ 9psi, thats around 174rwkw, to be honest it seems a little low, but once we up the boost to 14psi it should make some more decent numbers.

Christian:

I agree, Dh's are pretty hard to beat for that luxury bling look with out looking cheap and "dub"

I also run them on my soarer, its just a frog green 91, looks good tho, after I get coilovers I will take some shots of it. Fitment isnt really even that crazy but still looks great offsets are in the 40's.

Thanks Fran,

The 280zx was a nice car, how ever its big bumpers ruin the cars nice lines, the body kit it has the replaces the stock bumpers makes a world of difference, also note the rear lights are not 280zx items.

that 280 is rank...

trying to make an oldschool car look modern does not work, instead it ends up looking like an abortion

I wouldn't say it looks like an abortion,

Nothing like the guys with 1989 vn commodores with 2006 vz style kits,

Its more like the old Chrome bumper stingray's to the plastic,

I guess its a matter of personal opinion, but thanks for the comment anyhow.

I quite like that 280 - of course the 260 is a nicer looking car stock, but I think this 280 is nicely done. Thumbs up from me!

But its an 80's car???

You are thinking of the 260Z which is all 70's and chrome and awesome.

I think you've missed my point.

I don't like taking older cars and trying to make them look newer. Smooth lines on old body shapes just doesn't work.

It doesn't matter what year its from, but i like them to be styled to there era.

Don't get me wrong, i can appreciate the time and effort thats been put into it, but it wouldn't be the route i'd go

Ohwell, Horses for Corses. It definetly turns more heads then your adverage 280zx, But for the record, flares and wide rims with decent offset are on the shopping list for the datto (well nissan)
