Just made up a lil vid compilation from powercruise 19, had a ball and the soarer did suprisingly well considering it only has minimal mods. Mods include fmic, dumped exhaust, pod filter with cold air intake, shift kitted auto, locked diff. Was running 14-15 psi and didnt miss a beat all weekend. Would have been nice to see a few more soarers out there though. Enjoy!

haha yeah those skyline drivers are one of kind, the blue 34 had a big single turbo etc. and the white calais commo has run an 11.6 et. orange datsun had a twin turbo six in it. cressida had a mild 2jz. i had 3 people in the car for one cruise but slowed me down 2 much. i dare say it was one of the cheapest cars there, bought for $7500 spent $1500 on it so less than 10g and gave a few higher budget cars a good scare hehe.

I don't think I've ever cheered so hard watching a car race in my life. Almost brought a tear to my eye watching you pull on that r34. Thanks for posting this, I never would have entered into power cruise but watching how well you did I think I might have to next year.

haha! im glad ive inspired some people! pretty funny that a stock turbo'd soarer can peel on a big single 34 with all the fruit. dont forget the ugly orange r33 that was getting a run up on the turn..still caught him though

I'll watch yours if you watch mine. (look up MrBen12a. Ben12a was taken- go figure)
Your powercruise was better than the Darwin and Eastern Creek ones I have been too. They were pretty lame. QLD does seem to know how to get the right mix of babes and cars at a show without the antisocial you have to put up with at the Summernats or in Sydney.

You should get one Mike
Funny you should say that, I have been thinking, since I am looking to get a Celsior soon, if I find a decent one with a good engine, the motor from that Celsior could ideal for my second E36-1UZ conversion sometime in the new year, which would mean the Celsior would then have no engine, but I thought well perhaps a VVTi 1JZGTE Single Turbo or 2JZGTE could be an ideal conversion, with the possibility to use factory Aristo or Crown engine mounts.
Another of my little pipe dreams at this stage, but I think a 1JZ or 2JZ Celsior would be quite intriguing and wouldn't break the bank too much (unless lots of things had to be custom fabricated)
