Hey guys, sorry if this has already been covered before but most of the threads are of people trying to fit HB4 into the HB3 fitting. I just need a clear answer please.

I ordered a 12V 35W HB3 9005 6000k Xenon HID Kit from ebay. Just had a look today(yes i know i should have checked before i ordered) at the bulbs currently in my car and they are HB4 12V 51W, 9006 12V 55W DOT.

Is the kit i ordered going to fit? If not can i make them fit somehow?

Thanks in advance.

HB4 does NOT fit. HB3, depending on brand, should fit pretty nicely in the factory projectors.

I did the same as you but you can still make it fit so don't sweat it. All you do is loosen the screws that hold the bracket that makes the bulb stay in there. There are 3 screws for each light bulb.
