yeh ive asked many wreckers in my area tho but they dont have any in stock. =( i'll try in that section but if anyone can direct me to a specific wrecker, that would be helpful. Or if anyone knows who can fit it in, much appreciated.

Ryan sorry to hear that man, I suggest you check the parts for sale section on here, there are a few guys stripping Soarers so you are more than likely to find somebody that may be able to help you out.

i'm sorry to hear that man.. most glassies will tell you that "c" pillar windows are hard to come by because they're hard to get out without breaking..
and us being stubborn car nerds hear that and think "pfft you're just trying to make money out of me"
but trust me.. C pillar glass in ANY car is hard to get out without breaking - most glaziers don't bother doing it for that reason..
i know you quoted $480 - but that price is supplied, fitted and warranty'd and all you have to do is go inside and eat icecream. no worries..
so in that regard it's not THAT bad.. think of how much you love the car.. it's not that expensive really..
that said - by all means, SHOP AROUND. quick story from when i owned my cefiro.. i got quoted $800 for a windshield.. then $600.. then $800 again.. long story short - i heard through the grape vine that a rural windscreens obrien had a cefiro windscreen in stock..
$240 and a two hour drive into the country later and it was supplied fitted and installed.
so by all means.. call OTHER windscreens o brien. call nexus call instant windscreens call EVERYONE and compare prices..
getting one of these things out of a wreck will be a good way to make your hair go a nice shade of distinguished grey

Agree.^^ I'm getting a free windscreen today. Shannons full comp and o'briens.
But its too late now Ryan so advise would be to go with your first quote. that actually sounds fairly cheap. Don't they have to take out some interior trim to replace it? so quite a bit of labour involved compared to windscreen. Good luck with it all.

get in contact with dan savage he's in sy - - oh.
haha
no really - i just came back into this thread to make to following statement, because i think i can help you find who broke into your car..
OP said:

think about this for a second... generally speaking... a theif will break the C-pillar window, stick their arm in and undo the door using the handle from the inside..
now.
think of soarer.
think of location of the C-pillar window.
thought about it??
okay - now think of the location of the interior door handle.
...now think of the distance between "point of entry" and "door pull-handle"
... if he "tried yanking on your dvd player" then... i can bet your bottom dollar who broke into your car, man..

In reply to Daniels Post..
yeh we had to take out the back seat to take out the side interior trimming, one of my mates a mechanic, not much of a window repairer, but there was a bit of labour involved. Only the glass needed to be replace, everything else was fine. All good now. =) just need to retint the window, it looks weird at the moment..hehe
