to access the "christmas trees" holding the roof lining along each side of the car, you need to 1. pull the rear seats out (bottom first then back) 2. the lower rear quarter panels 3. the front seatbelt top link 4. front side window surrounds (the ones with the front grab handles) 5. the rear side window trim.
Now you can see the push in christmas tree clips along the sides. The rear of the roof lining simply pulls down. This should be enough to access the amp.

Hey Dan, If you've removed this before did you feel as if you could break the roof lining? Im guessing its backed on cardboard. I'll be removing this soonish so would like to know if its possible.

I didn't pull the front section down. so never removed it completely. I just bent the rear section down, and it did "bend" and creased where one of the xmas tree clips goes into the side. But it is strong enough to reform back into place. And you can't see any creasing now its all back up. It is very strong. Only problem I see if how to get it out the door?? Maybe have to take the windscreen out? can someone else confirm?

Need to remove the jesus handles, then the A pillar trims as well as the visors and interior light as well to remove the entire trim. I definitely would not do the job by myself.
