Unfortunately my 1994 Black on Black Limited UZZ31 has been in an accident and declared a total loss.... I was stationary making a right hand turn giving way to oncoming traffic and someone crashed into the back of me. Some before and after pictures are listed below.

Before my tail light, clear headlight covers and shifter upgrade

I have owned 2 Soarers over the past 7 years both beautiful cars that were written off by no fault of my own, just very unlucky I guess. I have also been a member of these forums since 2004 across different accounts, I don’t think I will be getting another Soarer so just wanted to say thanks for all the great info and help the site has given me.

I will have some parts up for sale shortly one of which is a full Auto Couture Copy (group buy) kit complete with fog lights and New grill.

What a waste of an excellent looking car. I think green Soarers are the only ones that deserve to be rear ended hard and put off the road.

See if you can find out when and where it is going to auction or how much to buy the wreck back I'd be interested in that one!

That is sad, looked to be a very good Soarer, I would do a reshell, swap all the interior, engine etc over and repaint another soarer.

Could get a 1996-2000 2JZGE version as the donor shell, but it depends if your up for a big project like that.

A lot to transfer!

what a shame!! Sad to see such a nice Soarer get crumped by someone not paying attention.
This is the reason why when I had my Soarer I had it insured at an agreed value and also had salvage rights.

I am still keeping my eyes peeled for the ideal Soarer for me and at a bargain price. Such a great car.

Thanks guys.

The insurance company is dealing with the car at the moment. I will be asking how much the wreck is selling for and if it does go to a wrecker I will try to find out where and let you guys know.

So if you wanted, could you buy the wrecked car back off the insurance company, after getting your insurance payout?

that's cheap. There are so many parts that would total more then that. I prob would of paid that just for the rims.

not really, panel beaters and the rest of the crowd where not interested as the repair required was too major, even the engine was pushed to the side / broken engine mounts... the online bidder is in for a surprise i think!

for parts, 2nd hand rims that don't clear big brakes and a black interior are about it and considering the hassle of getting rid of the rest of the car I was not willing to go over $1100.
