No, I did read the title thread - I just know a lot of young inexperienced guys who's cars barely scrape through or even fail roadworthy's because of basic necessities being worn out, but who will happily spend money adding body kits and BOV's to their death-traps because they have no sense of priorities.

If they step back and think about how great a car feels with a new set of shocks, overhauled brakes, tight steering etc... maybe they would spend their money more wisely.

i was also considering the manual swap stomps, but i don't know if i could do it myself. wouldn't it cost well over 3500 anyway including getting it converted by someone else?

I mean i like to think i can do it myself, but i can also see myself getting very annoyed at trying to do it.

yeah, i reckon you got no hope of getting a conversion done by someone else for that sort of money..especially coz people are charging a premium for even old worn out r154's these days..

if you did it yourself, you MAY get away with it.. but it would probably mean you would have to stick with a factory clutch..

if you havent done manual conversions before, a soarer is not a good first car to try it out on..

we did the manual conversion on my z20 in about 5 hours total.. its a straight forward job if you know what you are doing... not so much if you dont..

Matt, I drive an AE82 Rolla to Uni hahah, but I will drive the Soarer in a couple of weeks to show Vinh and that.

What you have down for what you want to spend seems good to me mate, you could probably pick up some lower springs for the time being if you wanted the car to handle a bit better and sit lower.

Your car has the factory rear spoiler and rear wiper, which were optional extras, so win win!

I'll try and get a thread going on the car soon. Once i get the new headlights and my mate(photographer) is free i'll try i reckon.

Yeah noticed that mate I'd look out for a good condition set of factory ones if you like them as they are dirt cheap.
