Hi all, i noticed that whenever i switch my gears from either park/neutral to drive/low gear, there is a violent "jerk" forward of the entire vehicle. Is there any issues that might contribute to this that i should be aware/worried about?

The line pressure cable isn't technically kickdown as such, as the ECU determines when to drop down a gear. The LPS determines how abruptly it drops into gear judging by tension in the throttle cable. If that makes sense I can't really think of a better way to describe it. It doesn't determine the speed of the change though as a lot of people think!
If the LPS is very tight (no slack in the cable at all) The clunk from Park or Neutral into gear can be pretty harsh. I would say Mounts are a likely option too especially if the car has had a bad knock recently.
