Hi all,

I have a friend who can source me a cheap 2jzgte engine from an aristo.

I'm just wondering how easy it is to drop it in to my soarer (currently running 2jz N/A) what other parts are required apart from the engine itself?

Because i am already running a 2jzNA do i need to alter gearbox? ECU? anything like that? or should it be straight drop in?

A member here is having this conversion done to his car at the moment by Costa.

They may be able to help you out.

What's your budget for the conversion?

A properly done conversion IS costly, doing it cheaply will probably result in reliability problems.

I don't recommend it if you are on a tight budget.

lol, how is he going to make a 1.5J out of 2 2J's?
All he would get if he bolted the GTE block under the NA head is a bunch of redundant oil squirters..
