Have searched but have found little.

I have heard that after accidents some car have a fuel cut-off/inertia switch.

How does one find this.
And how would you discern if it's ok to adjust this so you can drive the car home/rather than have it towed?

and while I am here. How do i prise off the round silver grey cover to the efi main relay to get to the fp and B+... it doesn't budge for me.

Just pull up and the whole thing comes off to reveal? Or do you need to separate the coloured part from the white part?

Anyway I worked out the fp and b+ was in the diagnostics module not in the fuse box. But in my post 97 model it doesn't have metal bits in all the parts of the module. It has metal bit/holders in +b, e1, ts, ab, tc, op4, ig, wa wb, only.

So does anyone know which to short circuit together to achieve my wanted outcome.

Reading this quote from:
http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/archive/index.php/t-20483.html

"
does it stop straight away or slowly dies

usually if its fuel related it will die slowly

if theres a lossin power to either ecu coils etc then it will stop suddenly

ive had 2 soarers play up with bad relays or connections on relays

one used to get to 6 or 7 kph then suddenly stop

it was loosing power to ecu

so if its not fuel related then u need to check powers to all main things like coil and ecu"

Mine stops quite fast so I guess I need to check the powers.... what is he getting at... how do I do that?

With a Multi-meter set to DC Volts, put the black probe to the chassis or GND wire, and then with the red probe check the +12V wires into the ECU or on the fuses and relays and see which one doesn't get voltage to it.

Hope that helps..
