while I'm removing the alarm which was never fitted right and caused draining of battery among other little problems I found this little thing wired on the pink cable coming from the ecu.

its only spliced into the pink wire (yellow and grey). also its getting juice from a red wire and ground from a black wire. that's it. only 4 wires. nothing going to the speedo, so its not a mph-kmh converter I guess!? (my speedo reads in kmh still anyway)

maybe a speed delimiter? to bad I cant try out if my soarer goes over 180kms as its in pieces right know

My guess would be speed delimiter (pink is normally speed sensor)

but it could be to remove fuel cut.
