I'm no expert on prices, but it does seem that the 300 usually goes a bit cheaper than the 400. Most new buyers find that they have to spend something more to get it how they want it and it's not until the work's been done that you can really gauge how you went. I hope you can do the estimates and get value for money.

The terms SC300 and SC400 are completely irrelevant in australia.
JZZ30/JZZ31/UZZ30/UZZ31/UZZ32, are what you should be ussing when referring to a model of soarer.
Also, N\A's go cheaper than the TT's and V8's because no one wants a 1600kg slug powered by a 6cyl non turbo...if people wanted that, they'd buy commodores.
