Hey guys I am currently in process of wiring up emu on my 1uz and as many might know the emu software doesn't have base settings for 1uz, so I wondering what the ignition type 1uz run? 12v or 5v also what type of karmanvortex is it 1 or 2? Also is there any offset angle? Cheers

From memory it is 5V ignition, but not 100 % on this as all my old emb maps are corrupted

I doubt the EMU will control the AFM, the EMB won't.

for tuning, use TPS verse RPM.

i THINK you can remove the AFM with the EMU.

Got it all hooked up and the car finally starts... BUT the IGN i had to disconnect since i there is no setting for 2 ign outputs and 2 inputs for a v8. Should that be set to 4 cylinder with group IGN output with capacity of 2000 or 4000? Injectors are running fine, also i dont get the RPM signal, EMU just shows 0. Rpm signal i hooked up to to tach signal from ECU, should i change that to IGF or CAM/Crank angle sensor, if so what are the cam sensor paramenter? Also since are injectors are in group of two, should i set double the flow rate in the parameter setting? eg 251X2 cc/min, If anyone also knows correct KNOCK sensor settings that would be appreciated, eg (resonant/nonresonat and the frequency)

Ali, and hence use TPS/RPM, afm delete.

Oleg, Group ignition 4 cyl is what Ive used on EMB.

I'm sure you can use rpm, cam or crank sensor, you should be getting an rpm signal from rpm 1 though.

Injectors, should be a table for group injection.

Just try google for 1uzfe knock sensor's.

Sorry I can't be of more help, Ive set up EMU on 1j's, which is a piece, only emb on 1U'S.

Thats good Oleg, any chance of a mini write up ? I'm sure it would be of great assistance to fellow members down the track.
