A truly Japanese car has truly Japanese artifacts left in it from another life.
Found these coins (pic) under the carpet just near the air vent hole under the drivers seat.
Wonder what would I find if I got serious and took the back seat out?

Interesting but not as colourful as one of my previous cars.
Found a gold and opal ring (pic) while trying to exorcise a smell.
White 1971 VH Valiant Regal 770 sports model sedan. Got it in a tender from Caulfield impoundment yard. The previous owner had been killed and put in the boot. The Police found the car three months later.
There was a ring of hair where his head had been complete with lots of dead weavels all through it and everywhere else. Not a lot of blood.
Had to throw out everything in the boot including the jack and tyre iron. The smell was "expansive" and took quite a while to get out. Once I'd got the steam cleaner down the left quarter panel well with the grommet out, it went. They'd done nothing to the car except take him out and tow it buggering the auto.
Found that out later. Great car tho. 318 V8 had done 35,000 km cost me a total of 800 bucks.
Am I sick? Na! It was a great car.

Lots of japanese coins and plus when I removed my Auto Trans shifter surround, there was a Parking Ticket from 1998 placed perfectly straight below the shifter surround, with no folds creases or marks.

If i remember correctly (it was a few years ago), when i did my stereo install i found in the boot behind the trims under/behind the stacker a heap of bundles documents including cheap polaroid photos from a photo booth of a young guy and lady etc.

I will have a look around my computer when i get home to see if i took photos of it all or not?

My Soarer has been in the country since 1995, with two Australian owners prior to me, so unfortunately I haven't found any Japanese artifacts in it.

However, the previous owner left a Joan Armatrading CD in the stacker.

Golf Tees!
Makes sense.
All of Asia is exploding with golf.
At Mission Hills a golf complex I worked at once in Shen Zen China above Hong Kong they didn't build one golf course of 18 holes, they built 10 golf courses of 180 holes and surrounded it in villa type houses that cost over 1 mill US per and they were selling out!
I've just hijacked my own thread!

Years ago when I was taking it apart I found a small bottle of Japanese massage oil and some paper with Japanese writing on it. Nothing interesting. Ohh and heaps of glass under the back seat from where it had been crashed and they didn't bother to clean out the glass after repairing it.

Nice one lads.
Speaking of up in the nose, I've got an F100 Ex Ambo as a family camping runabout.
When I got it home and poked around it I saw this rather large horn ended contraption about a foot long behind the front bumper. Thought it was an old siren. No. It's a claxon!

Frightened the Sh!t out of me when I first hooked it up. Very loud for a design about 100 years old!
