I just put my car for sale, The person below send me a text message (wanting to buy the car). He wanted my email-So I gave it to him. Than he sent me a message (which is below)Is this person be trying to scam me?
***the message below:
Hi Oh am so happy to hear back from you this fast I was actually thinking you might have had some other buyer's interested in buying the Vehicle from you so i think the best way for me to outbid them is only by offering you an additional $700.AUD to your asking price on your ad , But let me start by saying i won't for the inspection of the Vehicle my self due to where i am presently, but i have a pick-up Agent who will be contacting you about where and when the picking of the Vehicle will taking place after have completed the payment transaction with you . But can you please tell me just a little bit more about the present mechanical condition and how often do you do the service and if possible the history ?. I will be waiting to read from you before i can proceed with the payment immediately
Well, if he transfers you the money first, as per what he said, the picking of the vehicle will take place after having completed the payment transaction with you, then i don't see the problem as long as you see money in your account before anyone picks it up.

It's a very common scam.
They pay the money, then collect the goods, then claim to have never received the goods and get a refund. You have no proof he received it (why they use an "agent"), so are left without goods and a debt to paypal (or whoever). They get the goods and their money back.
