what are the pros and cons of a fiberglass front bar against an OEM bar?

what is the best to use as a replacement?

Aftermarket bars can look better. Thats it. Plasic oem wins for everything else.

Cons: fragile paintwork.
If you'r looking at keeping the car for a long time. Go for OEM. Besides 97 kits look sexy!

I've got a crack in my front bar, it it possible to have it plastic welded......thought I might have read on here that it is not possible to weld oem bar?
