Hi Guys, any UZZ32 Active Soarer owners in Adelaide want to catch up? I have some questions for you about the stock ecu, suspension switches and performance. My 32 is supercharged and has a WOLF ecu and I want to discuss the differences (eg the effect of the PWR button on suspension feel) Drop me a line at planetsoarer@yahoo.com.au or 0434 350577. cheers Peter Scott planetsoarer.com

Hi Peter,
check if the PSW wire go's to the Active suspension ECU, on TEMS equipped M70 Supra's and the air suspension soarers all it changes is the Transmission shift points.

Peter I am pretty sure the the pwr function no longer works with the Wolf, well it doesnt seem to with mine. My shift points are probably set a little differently to yours, I believe they are governed by tps and speed signals only.
TT's with tems suspension the pwr button would make some subtle changes to the tems.
31's obviously had a hard and soft setting, I didn't think that 32's had any other settings, except high and normal.

In the old days I would go for a vigorous drive and think the car was a bit soft. Then I would flick the PWR switch and hey presto the UZZ32 suspension was a bit firmer. I would flick it on and off on the same bit of road and was convinced. Now I have the WOLF and it is soft all the time. Was it a placebo only? Dying to get in a stock 32 and find out - maybe even a trip to Pedders on the shock dyno. I've had '32s on the shock dyno before and found differences in response on a pair of wheels. But how to fix that?

the only way you can tell for sure is if the PSW wire go's to the suspension ecu, then if it does replicate the factory ecu's pull up or pull down resistor on that wire.
I have a mate with a 32 he will be rebuilding, the discussion turned to the Suspension ECU... the amount of R&D that toyota would of invested would of been mind blowing and to replace it with an aftermarket unit to standard function level let alone end user tuneable would be an expensive nightmare!
