| This car that you have pictured
is now owned by a friend of mine. Was originally owned by Robert Hayden, car now lives in Armidale, still in the same top condition. The wheels are now on one of Richards other Soarers.
It had a different spoiler fitted a long time back. now
Original wheels, another smick Soarer

| I thought that was Robert H's car! Probably my favorite looking soarer ever. Those Work wheels & kit really suited it. |

| You are right guys, that add was from 'Spots and Luxery' cars FTG. 2K's from me and Hayden, where he lives in Wantirna. You guys have a good eye. But only us 'oldies' go back that far.

| And that's still their showroom, with the old Toyota gear now making way for the Mustangs and GT40's. As a kid I can almost remember that 24 Hour with those Yank cars winning over all the European Super cars. Yea, White with the Blue stripe..... |

| The shot with the car on ramps was taken at Leisure Vehicles...the venue I arranged for the very first ALSC meet which attracted around 60 cars in Bayswater , Melbourne in 2000/1....he wanted to show off his exhausts..... |

| I stand to be corrected, but “Leisure Vehicles” was at 25 Stud Rd Bayswater, Peter Vas. Or was when I was looking for a car. And “Sports and Luxury Cars” is at 10 Hayward Rd Ferntree Gully. And I believe there was a Little Argy Bargy between Craig and Peter over the name “Leisure Vehicles” |

| Correct, leisure vehicle was at Stud rd ( no longer) and Joe K was the salesman early in the piece.....and yes the name was leisure vehicles....I do think there was antagonism due to the cheaper prices at Leisure Vehicles.... |

| And yes guys, the car on the ramp looks more like it's at the LV site, as I remember it, more than SLC factory. Yes LV site closed a few years ago now, are they going anywhere else, even in another direction.

| Haha, man the prices back then. I seriously think some decent-equipped soarers these days are some serious bang for your buck, definitely a lot of car for the money. I love mine |

| The '31 pictured on the ramp has been in my possession for 9 years now and has done approx 35K since then as it is not used as a daily driver. Instead, I use it to round up the stock on my place and the sheep just love the plush leather seats.

| As Paul said, the wheels are on the black '31 at present. The pic above is a few years old. Those two woolly buggers became fox fodder. |

| Richard, I won the bet, "I bet he's over 50/55, I checked your profile. Only people of "our!" age, have a sense of humour. I see you have 5 of these things, one to go to the supermarket, one for the daily drive, a Cruiser for Sundays, and one for the round up. You can keep me guessing, but are you good with Paint Shop or is that for real. And I have saved that pic. And I do like the farm. I believe your mate is coming up to see you and "his" car soon. But you guys have even this COB a little confused at times, Does he have a Testarossa or what. Actually I must go around the corner and see him shortly. |

| Pay him a visit Wayne. Only just that age mate!! Had thought about selling on the '30, but it has been such a reliable daily, never, NEVER, let me down, serviced every 5K. Nothing was spared on her but the paintwork is shabby now. Will probably part it up or keep it to repaint, rebuild and blow engine one day. Bring on retirement!! Have 2 registered '31 and the TT that also had many $$$$$$$$$$$$ spent on it while my son was deployed OS. Stays in the family for sentimental reasons. The other '31 is a donor. Excellent motor and gearbox, airbags etc etc. Would like an Aristo as a 4 door get about though! Some blokes reckon I should grab a '32. MMmmm! Prices are dropping wildly. What projects have you got in the pipeline? Should catch up with the old mate next week and yeah the pic is "shopped". |
