A friend of mine from work is having some problems with his soarer. He starts the car, and once he puts it in drive the ECU warning light comes on and so does traction control and it stays on the whole time....it only happens once he puts it into D not reverse. What could it be?
I have offered to post this up for him as hes a regular visitor to this site, just hasnt joined up yet so any help would be much appreciated from both of us.

See if you can do diagnostics and get an actual error code. Sounds like it could be the dreaded TRAC master/booster fault. The code will tell you if it is.
