This is going to sound like a replete.

The most I've been able to fill up on my VVT is 68L, (fuel gauge is 0, fuel light etc).

So the fuel tank is 78L right? (I know that was my number from my old 91 soarer, but are VVT the same? or less?)

Blake, you may have the old faulty fuel gauge problem. May need the sender cleaned. There is a guide to this on this site. Under common fixes.

I know how to do the faulty fuel gauge fixed. I did that on my last soarer. My question is how big is the VVT fuel tank??? cheers,

toyodiy seems to list the fuel tank part number as the same one across all the models so i'd say it there meant to be same amount

I think they are all 78ltr. What I was getting at is just cos it reads 0, and the light is on, do you know for sure if its empty? Mine was doing the same before I fixed the sender. And I know it wasnt empty.
I think I read somewhere that when the light comes on, there is around 10ltrs left, so that would fit in.

~10L 1st warning and 6 L second warning.

i thought the petrol bowser light came on at under 10ltrs and after 5ltrs you get asian fuel writing come up

Put a small tank of fuel in the boot and drive it until it's empty.

Add the 5 litres (or whatever) and drive to the nearest fuel supply and fill it the rest of the way.
