Nothing wrong with FE heads...

And these show the potential that the 1GZ has...

True, although the G head was very much an 80s-90s thing, if you look at it now Toyota only offer 3 different engines with G heads, and they're in the 86 (4U-GSE), ISF (2UR-GSE) and LFA (1LR-GUE) :-)

I'd take a G-head version over an equivalent F-head any day of the week, but there aren't that many double-ups and sometimes you just have to work with what you're given

That just shows you the direction Toyota went after the 90s. I think all those 3 engines are on Wards best 10 lists

I'm not sure about the people who say the V12 is slow. A guy in Perth has both 1JZ and 1GZ cars both with exhaust upgrade and apparently it goes better than a 1JZ on 15 PSI.

A Person over east put his factory Century on a dyno and it made about 250hp. But I'd like to see some 1/4 Mile times and speeds.

Nup, only the FA20/4UGSE. But the 1UZFE (3 years in a row, and 20th Century), 2GRFSE (4 years in a row) and 1MZFE were though :-)

True, that is the main reason for the lack of power I guess. Mind you some of the later vvtl F engines go like stink, the little 1800 in my wife's car is a cracker.

None, unfortunately Ward's is only for engines sold on the US market (but still recognised to some extent globally, like the JD Power surveys), and be in a car under $55k for the base model, which is why the LFA isn't listed.

I reckon 1GZ is the ultimate Upgrade for UZZ30's !

So long as you can make all the ABS Cruise and what not work it will be awesome just the bonnet clearance I'm not sure how much of an issue it would be in Soarers.
