Reason I ask is today I took my newly acquired Soarer on its' first hills drive only to find fuel leaking out the fuel flap. Not much, but still I don't really want it happening. I wasn't flogging it or anything either, so it was a bit strange.

Hey Matt, not sure if that is a factory fuel cap, but i had the same issue. it is a common problem with soarer imports. its to do with the broken seal between the the petrol tank inlet pipe and the restrictive neck. You probably find that it all leaks out when you turn the corner? There are a few fix it threads around, just do a quick search.. If your having issues let me know.

a friends celsior had a similar problem. we pulled the whole neck out. at the bottom is a plastic restricter flap to stop "blow back". It had been damaged during compliance. After a repair, it fixed the problem.
