Just thought I'd give the heads up; There is one for sale currently on Import Monster.
For those who have this problem with their vvt-i Soarers - the symptoms are; slip control does not work, ect/od lights flash on the dash.
The error lies with the throttle control ECU. This part from Amayama is roughly $1000. They're not easy to come across. I bought myself spare ECU's for my vvt-i off Import Monster recently; both Throttle ECU as well as the Engine ECU.
