Its all about condition . You own A uzz31 , so I assume you know a bit about the beasties. Best models are 94 up to VVTI single model. A GOOD EXAMPLE ? well say 7 to 8 grand but subject to condition of Turbos , trannie , engine ( belts done ?) and front and rear bushes . If any of them need doing , like take $$$$$$$ off the asking. I bought a 1995 manual this year for 6.5 , he was after 8.5 but paint had some blemishes , LCA where worn and couple of other small things so thats what I offered . The manual TT is so much a better drivers car and to do a conversion on a auto will cost about 5 grand drive in drive out , the R154 box alone can cost up to 2 grand for a good one. It is a buyers market at present , good AUTOS are as cheap as chips and a lot to choose from. But be aware not a lot of VERY VERY Good Soarers out there for sale , but a lot of average ones. When I was looking for a manual , I found a 1998 VVTI one in Melb in a dealership , looked great but upon close inspection. Suspenion needed $$$$$ , VVTI engine -- just did not pull right , LSD diff was missing ,clutch was dowie , interior had many repairs and hand been painted black (fingernail test ) . He was asking $14G came doen to $10 real quick, I did not walk away , I ran away . Price -- well not a lot of manuals out there and very few good ones , so it gets down to how much do you really what one ?
