Just tested some e85 and got a bit of a surprised to find its actual ethanol content is e90. Anyone know if all united servos have consistency or are they all different. Does this change during winter. If I tune for 90% I would hate for it to drop to 80% or below during winter.

My mechanic says E85 varies a lot in content. From 90 down to 70 at times. I dont see the benefit of it in a daily myself. No E85 pumps in our town anyway, all 205 drums.

There is quite a few united stations with e85 in Melbourne. I would run 2 tunes and would hardly ever use 98 tune unless going interstate etc. But want to test a few batches to make sure it doesn't vary dramatically.

I think you should test again... finding 90% ethanol is extremely bizarre... if you're doing the water test, have you checked that your test tube is labeled correctly?
