Geday,

I'm still rocking a UZZ31 around the mean streets of Adelaide. I fixed EVERYTHING. It's so nice and great to drive across town and not feel buggered.

That said, I had it off the road for 12 months and when I got it running again, I got the bastard TRC error 43/51.

I tried the usual stuff and got the accumulator regassed, still can't clear it.

I tried snipping the sensor wire, no luck. It actually made it worse.

Tried to buy a DVS sensor but they seem totally unobtanium these days.

Any other tips on how to clear it?

Could the secondary TPS play a part in this issue at all?

I have TRC errors on one of my 32's... but thats because the brake accumulator is empty.
I guess we will see what happens once I regas that, hopefully I don't have ones stick around either.
If I do I'm sure I'll go full nerd figuring out why.

error 43 is caused by the dvs sensor at the rear of the master cylinder. I believe they are hard t purchase new. I "fixed" this error on my sons car by cutting one of the wires to the sensor. You can see the wires at the rear of the master cylinder, but it is easier to cut on then disconnect the plug. As the fault is only a faulty sensor, you get rid of the error messages with no adverse effect.

I'm not sure if it's the same thing for TT's but i bought a genuine sensor about a year ago, can't recall if from toyota or ebay.

But it didn't help my cause, still rocking the error code.
